Things changed on February 1st, 2024 when Google and Yahoo started applying new email sender standards in an attempt to improve their users’ experience. Even with the correct SMTP details, the server might be down or malfunctioning. Understanding the specific error codes returned by the SMTP server can help diagnose the issue. Once you've changed your password with your email provider, you can update the password in Outlook. See Change or update your email password for more information. If you've successfully sent and received email from classic Outlook before, and now Outlook repeatedly asks you to reenter your password, one of two things may have happened. Some customers may experience a delay when trying to create a new email address, or alias, for their Outlook.com account. This issue has been mitigated and we are continuing to monitor the issue to ensure stability. The root cause was the deployment of an incorrect campaign data file, which led to false positive campaign detection. We have since reverted to the right data file and the outbound email flow has returned to a normal state. We also released a new rule that corrected the wrong campaign verdict for all impacted customers during the incident.

If you decide you don't want the calendar you created, right-click the calendar and select Remove. To show or hide the Folders list, select Show or Hide the navigation pane.
